Birth-control
The population increases automatically and naturally, and this increase has negative repercussions on the environment and the standard of living, especially in a country the size of Lebanon that does not possess any self-sufficiency, at least until this moment, which will lead to an increase in the need for consumption.
Here, the New Lebanese Party had to take into account the issue of birth control as one of the steps to help support our political project, especially with regard to environmental and economic renaissance.
Since the state is responsible for economic stability, in addition to health care and providing job opportunities, many countries find it very difficult to fully complete their duties for various reasons, including population growth.
Therefore, the New Lebanese Party believes that it is obligatory to support the culture of birth control through awareness programs and highlighting its advantages, for example:
Improving health care: When birth control is established and the number of children is reduced, the family has the ability to provide quality health care for its children, and in this the families’ need for additional medical resources decreases and the chances of obtaining quality medical and educational care improve.
Poverty reduction: When families control their family size, they may experience an improvement in their income, employment and education opportunities, which contributes to reducing poverty and improving quality of life.
Improving Maternal Health: Thanks to birth control, mothers can maintain their health and avoid multiple and consecutive pregnancies, which reduces the risk of premature birth and health problems caused by repeated pregnancies.
Promoting gender equality: Birth control gives women greater opportunities to participate in work, education, and to contribute effectively to society, thus promoting gender equality.
Preserving natural resources: Birth control contributes to preserving natural resources and the environment, as reducing the number of children reduces the demand for resources and energy.
