New Lebanese: Yes to liberating the land, yes to stopping the bloodshed.
The “New Lebanese Party” declared through its Secretary-General, Mr. “Dany Abdel Khalek,” in the monthly political council meeting, that Lebanon has every right to liberate the rest of its occupied territory. He emphasized that this matter is not related to any sect, group, or party; rather, it is a national right and responsibility that lies on the shoulders of the entire Lebanese people, and it cannot be compromised.
At the same time, the party’s Secretary-General urged the leadership of the Lebanese army to exhaust all diplomatic means and make fighting the last resort, as a way to avoid bloodshed. On the other hand, he stated that Israel should well understand that we, as a people and an army, are determined to pursue the option of liberation until the end.
Abdel Khalek said, “The ball is now in the Israeli court, and it is in Israel’s best interest to end this occupation smoothly and return the right to its rightful owners.”
The political council of the party called on countries that have relations with Israel, especially Arab countries, to pressure their Israeli friends to comply with international resolutions in order to avoid the military option in the region. As for Lebanon, we affirm to everyone that our country always raises the flag of peace as long as our dignity and rights are respected.
The political council concluded its statement by saying: Yes to liberating the land, yes to stopping the bloodshed.
