The New Lebanese Party: No, Saudi Arabia!
Seven gulf countries stand in solidarity together to force a Lebanese Minister to resign whilst in Lebanon we can’t unite with a Lebanese Minister, regardless of our internal political division, to say “No” to Saudi Arabia as we have previously said it thousands of times to Iran.
As for those who talk about our Arab Milieu, we say that our Arab Milieu is the milieu that stands with oppressed people; not who supports warlords and corruption. Tripoli, the second biggest city in Lebanon, is collapsing under economic crisis. It’s always been one of the poorest cities in the country – even before the current economic meltdown. Children are facing a growing hunger crisis and our Arab milieu has not provided any support to overcome this heartbreaking issue
To our comrades in the October 17 revolution, We are in front of a real test; either we stand in solidarity in front of any country who wants to dictate their terms or return to our sectarianism and partisanship.
The decision is OURS to make, in Beirut, NOT in Riyadh or Tehran.
Long Live Lebanon!
